The project
EnviroServ’s Chloorkop site is a registered CDM landfill-gas destruction project. Renew supplied the APROVIS FriCon gas chiller that dries 800 Nm³/h of raw landfill gas before it reaches the utilisation equipment.
Dropping the gas below its dew point removes the water vapour that would otherwise condense in the downstream pipework, and strips a share of the water-soluble ammonia and sulphur compounds along with it.
